What is large format printing?

A

We start where print shops leave off. Although we have the ability to print the smaller sized graphic requests, we specialize in producing large graphics includeing vehicle wraps, tradeshow displays and exhibits, full color outdoor banners, and much more.

How wide can you print?

A

We have in-house capabilities, with the latest in print technology, to print up to 54" wide in one panel.

What is your typical turnaround time?

A

Typical turnaround time on a standard project is 24-48 hours. Projects of higher quantity or are more labor intensive require an estimated time of completion from Speedpro.

What is the resolution of your printing?

A

Our printers can print up to 1440 x 1440 dpi, with standard print speeds of 720 x 720.

How should I set my files up?

A

We run Adobe Creative Suite 3 on PC and primarily print from .eps or .tiff files. For more information about how to set up your files, please reference our file format sheet HERE.

How do I upload a file?

A

To upload a file, click on the request a quote page. On the bottom of the page you'll see a button where you can upload your files. Once the file has been uploaded, please send the file name and order to PSilberman@speedpro.com.

What is media?

A

Media is the material that your graphic is printed on. We print on many different types of media including banner material, adhesive backed vinyl, fabrics, backlit material, and many others.

What is a substrate?

A

Substrates consist of foam-cor, gatorboard, MDO board, plexi-glass, alumacor, polystyrene, PVC, etc. Your adhesive backed graphics are mounted to these types of materials to add strength and regidity.

What is laminate?

A

Laminate is applied on top of media, and in many cases helps further protect the graphic from abuse. We use a cold lamination process and have a multitude of laminates, ranging from matte to high gloss, that can be used depending on the use and application of the project.

What types of inks do you use?

A

We use solvent based inks on all of our printers. Solvent based inks are agressive and impregnant themselves into the media. This ensures a high quality, longer lasting print with the most vibrant colors possible.
